Spanish language support Android SDK

Hola, hablas espanol? In a global marketplace, supporting multiple languages is key to onboarding your customers easily, and without delay. We’re excited to announce that we now offer local language (or localisation) support via our Android SDK, and Spanish translation out-of-the-box. Watch this space, as we’ll be adding iOS support in the near future, and out-of-the-box translation for other languages, too. Adios!

SSN Matching

Our customers in the USA will be happy to hear we’ve added Social Security Number (SSN) to our Identity Record check. If you’re required to collect your customers’ SSN as an added security measure, we can now collect either the full SSN (9 digits) or the last 4 digits. Then, we can check that number to make sure it matches your customer’s name, date of birth and address.

SMS Support for Desktop to Mobile Flow

Last month we announced Desktop to Mobile Flow. It lets users start the signup process on desktop, then sends them an email so they can seamlessly switch to mobile to take selfies and document images. But it’s just got better! We’ve now added SMS support, so users can send themselves an SMS to make the switch over, too. We were so excited about the Desktop to Mobile workflow that we created a short data sheet all about it. Hope you love it as much as us.

UI Dashboard Improvements

Our quest to improve UX never ends. This month, we deployed a new version of the Applicant List within the Dashboard, which simplifies how your customers’ check progress and results are displayed. Now, you can see a quick overview of the progress of your checks without needing to click into each customer record. We’ve also made it easier for you to search for customers by improving how we display search and filter options in the dashboard. Enjoy!

Facial Check with Video

We talked about our new Facial Check with Video in our last product update, but it’s so good we wanted to tell you twice. The Facial Check with Video provides an added level of security by detecting liveness, which helps prevent user impersonation (ie. users taking a photo of a photo). Now, we ask users to film themselves repeating numbers and performing randomised movements during the signup process. Get in touch if you’d like to receive discounted Facial Checks with Video for up to a year, and check out the full video here.
